Glisk Studio is a customer insight agency for software businesses. We're one of the few UK consultancies pairing AI search optimisation (SEO, AEO, GEO & AIO) with user and UX research, so you're found by the people searching for you and built for the people who land on your site.
Every engagement starts with a question: who your customers are, why they stay or leave, what they're searching for, or whether an idea will land. Here's how we answer it.
We optimise your site and content so you rank in Google and get cited correctly by AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
We uncover who your customers are and what they need, then test whether what you've built actually works for them. Including GDS-aligned research for government services.
Glisk is Scottish for a glimmer of light at sunset, the fleeting moment just before it fades. It's stuck with me since the day I noticed how closely it matched the feeling of a breakthrough in user insight: brief, easy to miss, and the thing that unlocks everything else.
I spent over a decade turning customer insight into product and business strategy across consumer technology, consulting, construction and the third sector. My work shaped 8 new products launched into the US market, used by more than 8 million people. But the pattern I kept seeing mattered more than the results: marketing and product were run as separate jobs, chasing separate goals. In reality, the customer journey doesn't split that neatly. Acquisition and retention are two ends of the same relationship, and understanding what motivates someone to choose you is the same insight that keeps them with you.
I founded Glisk in 2025 to close that gap: to give tech businesses the tools to understand the full customer journey, so they can invest in the parts of their product that matter most to the people using it. It's collaborative work, shaped around each client's needs rather than a fixed process, because no two customer journeys look the same.
