We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, contact us at sarah@gliskstudio.com.

What data we collect and why

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This involves collecting data such as your IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving our website and understanding our audience.

Google Analytics may use cookies and similar tracking technologies. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Newsletter sign-ups

If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. We use this to send you updates about Glisk Studio's work, insights, and services. We process this data on the basis of your consent.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing sarah@gliskstudio.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.

How long we keep your data

We retain analytics data in line with Google's default retention settings (up to 26 months). We retain newsletter subscriber data for as long as you remain subscribed, plus a reasonable period thereafter in case of any queries.

Who we share your data with

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC. Google may transfer and process data outside the UK. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing purposes.

  • Access the personal data we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate data

  • Request erasure of your data (the "right to be forgotten")

  • Object to or restrict how we process your data

  • Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent)

  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113

Cookies

We use cookies for analytics purposes via Google Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Please note that disabling cookies may affect your experience on our website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.

That's fully complete and ready to publish. The only ongoing reminder: if you add new tools to the site later (a booking tool, CRM, etc.), this policy will need updating to reflect them.
